Passing passwords to HTTP checks

Has anyone ever been able to pass a password to the http check that includes an '"@" character? We have tried escaping the @ with a "\", we have also tried single quoting the password. Eg password for example is @pple and username is root We have tried: http://root:\@pple at www.test.com <http://root/@pple at www.test.com> http://root:'@pple'@www.test .com Both of these fail. Status Summary on Info Page

I am running 4.2.0, with the allinone patch applied. I noticed on the Demo site that the Info page displays a nice 'Status Summary', below the 'Alerting' section and before the 'Disabled tests' section. My Info page does not have the 'Status Summary' section. How do I het this to display? Some PCRE assistance

I've checked the PCRE tutorial and several other sites and I can not find a good match to what I'm trying to do. I've also run several iterations through pcretest with no joy. I have a list of users (actually virtual machine names) with the heading 'UserID'. I would like to set up a regex to match any of them, except for the heading. Basically, to count the machines, but ignore the heading line. I've tried variations of "(!Userid|.*)" with no luck. Thanks. -- Rich Smrcina VM Assist, Inc. exim monitoring

I'm curious what people are using to monitor exim with hobbit. I know there is eximstats, that's good for generating reports. But I'm looking more for realtime reporting (amount sent/discarded/bounced/etc). Currently the only thing I monitor is the queue size.

Hi, I'm trying to use the hobbit to send me an sms when ports are flaggin red. However I only want this some some of the ports of a host and not all. I'm unsure on how to filter that in the hobbit-alerts.cfg settings. TAP sendsms script

Hello, I finally got a lan-line hooked up and working on my hobbit server. Thanks for everyones help with that. I am trying to configure SMS alerts using the TAP protocol. The hobbit help documents refer to /usr/local/bin/smsalert as the program to use to send the alert via a modem. what software or scripts can I use to dial out using the TAP protocol and send a SMS message to a cell phone... Hey Michael, I just dumped the templates into my devmon. I did have to add WS-C6509 to the specs file on the sysdesc line to have it see my two units.
