[hobbit] New Hobbit "admin" Scripts

Yes an in correct transfer ; for all the scripts have ^M at the end of the line. Thats easy enoght to fix after down load though. What shell are you using its not sh (bourne) is it realy bash ? I cant get the select statment in viewlogs.sh to work. Look like no vaule is parsed. I hard coded a log in and it displays. Hi, i have wrote 5 CGI-Scripts for administrate Hobbit. But i need Helf because there are many unsolved Problems 1. A Script which can delete/rename Services or Hosts 2. A Script where you can edit your Config in Browser 3. A Script to test your hobbit-alert.cfg in two way. 1. By using bbcm 2. To change any Test in any Color you want 4. A Script to watch your Hobbit Server Logs in Browser 5. A Script you can view Graphs with an exact Time. ping and traceroute

Good morning, this is an idea for a feature request. It would be nice if there would happen a traceroute automatically if conn/ping fails. So the result of traceroute could be displayed in addition to the negative ping results and we would know if the problem is at in our net or outside. Alternative: All standart tests of hobbit would allow to add scripts to be executed once a test fails. So everyone can handle this as (s)he likes. I wish all of you a silent pager the next days! I was wondering how I can get this rule to work? Right now it is not working the way I expect. Everything has the 90 95 threshhold. This is that difference between the perl regexp parsing and the shell parsing we're used to - you want '.*' (dot asterisk) where you have just '*'. IIRC, in perl, that means 'match any charcter (the dot)' followed by 'match any number of the previous character (the asterisk)'. problem with the latest snapshot

hi, there, I downloaded the latest snapshot ( http://www.hswn.dk/beta/hobbit-snapshot.tar.gz ). It buit just fine as RPM on a up-2-date CentOS 4.4 test server, using the included hobbit.spec. Once I updated the server and a CentOS 4 (also up-2-date CentOS 4.4) client, however, I got a lot of 'purple' for the client and for the Hobbit server itself. ~hobbit/client/logs/hobbitclient.log on both server and the client claims the following: 2006-12-20 11:57:43 connect to bbd failed - No such file or directory 2006-12-20 11:57:43 Whoops ! bb failed to send message - Connection failed tcpdumping on the server and client showed no attempts to send any packets to 1984 port. manual connecting to server's 1984/tcp port works just fine from the client. Plus the client piece on the Hobbit server experienced the same problem, I don't think this is a networking issue.
