There is a column called "ports" which is always clear and tells me that there are "No port checks defined". Is there way to define these checks? -- Stephen

Error Logs?

I have been testing xymon to replace the big-brother system. Some time during the additions and deletions I seem to have messed up something because the status pages no longer update and the service links fail with errors like: Cannot load host configuration or The requested URL /xymon-cgi/30 was not found on this server. I've tried the obvious thinks like restarting xymon and apache. Is there an error log or logs I can look at to find out why? server: CentOS7 - 7.3.1611 xymon: 4.3.28 httpd: 2.4.6

Why no host comments?

Howdy, All! We're in the process of migrating our current Xymon 4.3.3 site to a new host (Solaris -> Linux) and upgrading to a new Xymon version (JC's Terabithia RPMs: Xymon 4.3.28-1.el6.terabithia<http://xymon.sourceforge.net/>). One of the wrinkles that has me stumped is that none of the hundreds of host "COMMENT:" tags is appearing on the new server's pages! Example: On the old server an entry like this: x.x.x.x hwap142 # COMMENT:"Batch App Server" // Displays a like this on the web page: hwap142 (Batch App Server) but the same line on the new server shows only: hwap142 --- All the associated test columns and colors are showing up just fine. Aside from the missing "COMMENT:" values, host entries appear as expected. Clue: for some reason mousing over the name of the host on the web page reveals the missing COMMENT: text! Hi Team, I am using Xymon 4.3.27 and monitoring ports, process, disk space usage. Now I am planing to implement more and below is the requirement. >We have weblogic environments with a webservice deployed. >Need to pass SOAP Request to call the webservice. >Need to create dedicated webpage on xymon server to call that webservice. >webpage should have dropdown list to select target environmnet. > on submit it should pass soap request to webapplication deployed on target weblogic environment. > webpage on xymon server should display the SOAP response of webapplication. Xymon app for iPhone?

Hi, The sleep/home button does not work. The shutter works but no flash and no picture. However the AssistiveTouch did the trick. Attached are the photos. Xymon app for iPhone?

Been awhile since I was in there with the iphone, and now I remember. It wasn't so much the zoom but selecting the machine etc I had to figure out. The hostname or tests field is empty and I had to figure out how to fill it. There are 3 dots to the right of each field that need to be clicked on to select stuff. Also when I first got the iphone the enable/disable didn't work at all. You couldn't see anything. A few upgrades of the iphone passed before I noticed it was working perfectly once I figured out how to use the select function. Im using xymon for many years I just wondering is there a easy way to make the output more readable? Filesystem 1024-blocks Used Available Capacity Mounted on /dev/mapper/sysvg-root 10321208 4397592 5399328 45% / /dev/sda1 1032088 152244 827416 16% /boot /dev/mapper/sysvg-vz 1898719656 249544968 1552725360 14% /vz As you see there is no scaling in the output to GB etc Thanxs Steffan
