Hello, I just set uo Hobbit on my linux box, but finding it difficult getting = MRTG working. I have tried the prodedure described in the Integrating MRTG data into = Hobbit document & the perl script my Mr Clark. I keep getting this error: 2005-09-15 02:17:14 Task mrtg terminated, status 9 2005-09-15 02:22:14 xgetenv: Cannot find value for variable Can you help out or any one who has ever tried integrating MRTG into = hobbit. post configuration - 302 redirect

Dear All, I have a webpage form that I test using a post tag with the form content. This works as expected very nicely - however when logging in I am redirected using som session id etc to a new page. Is it possible to configure hobbit to follow the redirection ? Regards, Thomas

DNS Testing

Hello - In looking at the bb-hosts man page (DNS Server Test section), I see that the syntax is "dns=hostname" or "dns=TYPE:lookup"... Any way to make it look at a specific DNS server as well? ( i.e. dig @dnsserver hostname ) -- --==[ Bob Gordon ]==--

Ntpdate problem

I have an NTP test running against a server. The ntpdate command that Hobbit issues comes back with this: hobbit1:/etc # ntpdate -u -q -p 2 172.17.1.242 server 172.17.1.242, stratum 16, offset 0.150246, delay 0.02640 13 Sep 08:07:54 ntpdate[1055]: no server suitable for synchronization found Which turns the icon red. Mulitiple client sessions

hobbitlaunch.cfg contains this: [hobbitclient] ENVFILE /home/hobbit/client/etc/hobbitclient.cfg NEEDS hobbitd CMD /home/hobbit/client/bin/hobbitclient.sh LOGFILE $BBSERVERLOGS/hobbitclient.log INTERVAL 5m The actual client contains this file "runclient.sh" They almost do the same thing... Should the hobbitlaunch.cfg be changed to simply execute the "runclient.sh" and use whatever settings has been defined in that file? Maybe add this to runclient.sh as well...
