Can the mail archives/mail list be changed to obscure the email address used to send messages. eg. instead of a to/from address showing up as username (at) example.com can it be changed to username at xxxxxxxxxx I have not had any spam to this account, within 24hrs of posting a message to the hobbit list I am now on spam lists. Maybe the latest version of the mailing list software will do this, an example I can refer to is here: http://www.sage.org/lists/sage-members-archive/2008/threads.html Thanks Craig

The conn test does not appear (well it went purple since it stopped working). The dns test shows up correctly on both examples on the DNS page. Is this a bug? Do I need to put duplicate hosts lower in the bb-hosts file? Thanks Craig

NFS Graphs

Hello All, I have an NFS test that I got from deadcat, but it doesn't graph any nfs partitions. We have an EMC NAS server, and I'd like to be able to track storage usage with graphs. Has anyone seen or written anything that will track NAS storage with graphs (NFS mounts), or is there a way to do it with Hobbit? Thanks...James

Hi everybody i make time to reinstall the my server,and i have install all the depends software (<openssl, rrdtool, pcre etc ...)But when i try to install hobbit , it answear me two is missing librrd0 ans libss but i read on rrdtools website but i have install librrd2 and i can'd find librrd0 for my etch debian.Can somebody have a idea about that. Troubleshooting windows clients

Hello... now that I've got Hobbit running, I'm trying to get my Windows clients talking to it. Where does the data from the Windows client go when it comes into the server? I found an msg. file on the client that had all the correct info... I'm assuming that gets transferred by bbwin to the server. The client's cfg file is pointing to the server and I'm able to telnet to port 1984 on the server from the system running the client, so I'm suspecting something's up on the server side. The event log on the Win32 client shows that the various dlls have successfully loaded with no errors. Also nothing unusual appears in the logs on the server. What I get is just the connection, info, and trend - no CPU, ram, and other stats. Configuration Tool?

A while ago there was talk of a tool being released that used a database to manage the hosts (I think it was MS access), it generated the hobbit config files. Did it get released? Has there been any more work on it? Thanks Craig
