Just installed hobbit on an old bigbrother server, but the /home/hobbit/server/www directory doesn't contain the web pages. What could I have done wrong? [hobbit] WWW pages missing

I have set this server up like I had 5 others, this is the only one that has done this. There are 2 differences: since I could not get PCRE 6.0 or 6.1 to compile, I used 5.0 instead. And this server is running an older version of apache 1.3.22. Everything else related to the hobbit installation is the same as the other hobbit servers, permissions are the same. I create the hobbit user, configure hobbit, make hobbit, make install, but it doesn't generate the bb.html and other files in the /home/hobbit/server/www directory even though it does create the gifs,rep, and other directories there. I checked the permissions, but I don't see anything different from my other servers. Is there some other missing dependency that keeps these files from being created? hobbitd_history crashing with coredump

default dely value for hobbit-mailack

Maybe I missed something somewhere but the man page hobbit-mailack says the default delay value = 1 hour (60m). Whenever users use email ack a Hobbit alert message, the default delay appears to be 30 minutoes. In the bb world, there is a "touchtime" utility that would put a date/time stamp on a file in the future by x minutes. I'm sure it would work fine for your needs, but Hobbit may have something built in. I've found that some of the directives in hobbit-alerts have to be in some sort of order. I have had to play with the order of the directives until they were all recognized by hobbit on several occasions. I don't know if this is documented or not, but I find that putting the DURATION> directly after the e-mail address tends to work best. FYI COLOR seems to work best when it is last... Is it me, or does badntp in the bb-hosts file not work? I have several servers running NTP, and they occasionally (several times a day) will lose their sync for a few minutes while they switch between higher stratum servers. It would be nice if hobbit wouldn't change to a "red" state.
