Connection problems with bbproxy

Hello, I have a BB server (and clients) running 1.8b. Most of our systems are inside the firewall and are monitored easily. For the few external servers we used bbfetch with good results for several years. Recently we added a large amount of servers outside the private network, which caused some bottlenecking and performance issues with bbfetch, so I decided to try bbproxy. So far I have been able to make the external clients send to the bbproxy server, and the bbproxy server can make contact through the firewall to the BBDISPLAY server on tcp1984. However, the BBDISPLAY server is not doing anything with the data. Both the bbproxy and the external client are in bb-hosts, and I can see tcp connections being made on both ends via snoop. I also don't see any errors in BBOUT, even when I run bbd in debug mode. I've eliminated the firewall as well, and still have the same results. I would like to request suppression of the client's 'ps' output on the web page. With 'ps wwaux' the lines are really long which creates fairly unattractive output. The long lines casuse the processes you are interested in to align flush to the left side of the page. I would rather just see the processes I am interested in and their associated red, yellow, and green icons. I am still not seeing the CPU, MEM, etc. What I have in my hosts file on the hobbit server is: 192.168.123.1 loki.home.net # CLIENT:loki

I am trying to monitor my home firewall. I ran a sniff on the hobbit server, and saw traffic, so I do not believe it is being blocked. But the CPU, MEM, etc tests never show up. In bb-hosts on the server, I listed the server with its FQDN. Am I missing something ? I tried FQDN and Hostname..

eventlog patch

Hi Henrik et al., I was fiddling around a little bit with the event log reporting code; I added the ability to search through a specific time interval, and also the ability to apply a regular expression against the host, test and/or status color. You can fetch it from http://www.nerdvana.org/eric/files/eventlog-patch Apply it from the base hobbit src direction: patch -p0 < eventlog-patch It could probably use a little refinement. Right now if a user wants to specify a start/end date, they have to use a very strict format: ccyy/mm/dd at hh:mm:ss I considering doing dropdowns in the event_form webfile, but that would either have to have years in the future (2006,2007, etc) or would have to be updated every year. Hello Have you found a solution for your Problem ? I have the same problem, actually running with 4.1.1. It happens when a host is in the same pageset under 2 Groups example: a entry in group Unix Systems and a entry in group Hobbit and the host is duplicated in both groups. @Henrik Have you already take a look at the bb-hosts file that i send you ?
