Which requires he already be familiar with TCP/IP programming in java, and work out how to parse bb-hosts to find the server name(s) . . . and the reason he's looking for a template or other sample code. What kind of system do you run the hobbit server on? I have ~3300 rrd files updated here on a blade with an old 40 Gig 5400 2,5" hard drive and it is almost idle. Before Flaming me, if this is the wrong place, please let me know. I have a windows 2000 server with the BBWin Client installed, but I'm not getting anything on the hobbit server. Does anyone know some troubleshooting steps I should follow to determine the problem? I did add the client: line to the bb-hosts file on the hobbit server to match the FQDN --Pat
