Hello, I'm getting the following error on a Solaris install: 2008-02-25 16:11:19 Could not get sem: No space left on device It's telling me that I need to increase the number of semaphore sets and individual semaphores available on applications. I'm running another application on the Solaris box besides Hobbit which is probably why there is not enough. Does anyone have a recommendation for Solaris on what to put in the /etc/system file? Thanks.James

The graph still not displayed. Its just like a picture that cannot be displayed with "red X" mark. See the attached files for the screen shots. Thanks! hobbit color-changing issue

Hello, I have a small hobbit issue. I want hobbit to go red every time the word "/evicted/" shows up in /var/log/messages on some hosts. So the part in /hobbit-clients.cfg/ is as follows: HOST=%cn4[3-6]*-hp PROC "%syslogd" 1 1 red PROC "%/usr/sbin/nscd" 1 red PROC "%iscsid" 2 2 red LOAD 16.5 20.0 LOG %/var/log/messages %(?-i)evicted|Oops|ALERT|NOTICE COLOR=red LOG %/var/log/messages %(?-i)LustreError|WARNING|FAILED|kernel|failing|ILLEGAL COLOR=yellow The Part in client-local.cfg: [cn44-hp] log:/var/log/messages:10240 ignore MARK trigger ALERT trigger .*(dumping log to)|(evicted).* file:/var/log/messages The Issue: Every time I put the word "/evicted/" manually in the messages file, hobbit will go red for about 15 minutes. That's fine. If I put a second line with the word "/kernel/" in the messages file, a second (yellow) line appears in the mesgs column. That's also fine. Hobbit is still red, but stays that way only for about 15 minutes. After the 15 minutes, it changes to yellow and the "/evicted/" warning is gone. It stays yellow for another 15 minutes, and then it turns green. The messages file is really small (under 10 KByte) and not much is being written in it. That's why hobbit must stay red all the time!?! I searched for the number 900 in server/etc, but nothing matches (exept some proxy configuration). Does anyone have an Idea what or where the problem could be? Greetings Georgi

Hi all, I have an entry in my bb-hosts for an smtp server : 1.2.3.4 smtp.domain.com # smtp but the smtp.domain.com is resolved with a different IP, so the check is done with the IP that comes from the DNS resolution. is there a way to use the IP ? (I'd like to keep the name). thanks

Hi there! Good day. I recently installed hobbit server version 4.2.0 using Solaris 10 x86 in a notebook pc. All functions are working except for the Graph Display. I cannot view any graph. What are your suggestions? Thanks, --Mark

Hi, I've some installation- problems with hobbit on ubuntu 7.10. I've make all the things in the installation instruction. After ./configure amd make I'll start make install. I've got the follwowing error : chgrp /home/hobbit/server/etc/hobbit-nkview.cfg /home/hobbit/server/etc/hobbit-nkview.cfg.bak chgrp: unknown group /home/hobbit/server/etc/hobbit-nkview.cfg make[1]: *** [install-cfg] error 1 make[1]: Verlasse Verzeichnis '/home/frank/Desktop/hobbit-4.2.0/hobbitd' make: *** [install-hobbitd] error 2 I try a lot of things, but nothing works. Does anyone know this error and can help me ?
