Hi I have a set of Windows clients that I am monitoring CPU, disk and memory information. I added a Linux client, but the only statistic that I am able to monitor for this client is the connection information. Can someone please let me know how to get CPU, disk and memory information for this client? Thanks -- Sridhar

Hi, is there any "usual" way, to monitor and graph the traffic of a bulk of network interfaces? The reason is, some of our hosts are connected to iSCSI storages via multipath over two or four independent interfaces. Since the traffic is balanced equally, every interface shows (more or less) the same amount of traffic. This leads to very useless rrdtool graphics as there is only one multicolored thick line visible. It would be really helpful to see a graph which shows the SUM of the particular interfaces. I've recently tried to hack an own ifconfig script which does the calculation and adds an fake "aggr0" interface, but for some reason, that fake interface doesn't show up. It's visible under the [ifstat] section, but i assume the rrdtool relies on some other info. Cheers, Stephan

Problems compiling 4.3.5 client on Solaris 10

Hi All, I've been working on installing the xymon client onto a solaris 10 systems and have encountered some errors. I'd appreciate any assistance the list could provide. When I run sudo configure.client I see: Checking for Large File Support ... ghostly graphic-links

Hi ! I've got a mysterious problem, because there are too many graph-links (dead links) on the trend-page for my SPLITNCV-Graphs .. ... see http://desy.de/~flemming/afss3.png (The first afss3-graph is right and pretty but follows of ghostly links) Im running [xymon01] /usr/lib/xymon/server/bin # ./xymongen --version xymongen version 4.3.4 but this problem was already there with older versions :-( I startet with a normal NVC-method and there was everything ok i've got one afss.rrd and could show every of my 20 value in a seperate graph on the trend-page ... but now i want to use the SPLITNCV-Method to have for each value one seperate rrd, so i can compare each value for several servers .. this also works but unfortunaltey ony with these addittional ghostly/dead links :-( Has somebody an idea what's going wrong ? thanks & Cheers martin

nosslcert tag not doing what I thought it did

Still running Xymon 4.2.3 so... I have a need to do a content test on an https url on a dev server that has self signed certificates. The customer just wants Xymon to get through to the first page and check the content without having to mess with the certificate. I thought putting nosslcert on that host would do the trick, but I couldn't see that it changed anything on the resulting page. nosslcert turned the sslcert icon purple, but it didn't change the behavior of the content test. We want to be able to skip the ssl warning and the need to click to proceed to the page. Apparently curl, wget and nagios all have options to do this (although I haven't actually tested that on nagios) so I'd be surprised if Xymon doesn't. Is there another way to do that?
