Multiple disk definitions

Hi all Anybody had any experience trying to define multiple disk definitions. I have a range of servers, which for whatever reason, have highly variable partition sizes. E.g. ServerA /data1 2Tb /data2 200mb ServerB /data1 800gb /data2 4Tb /data3 20gb Setting a blanket value of DISK * 90 95 Will not give good results, because on a 4Tb volume, 90% is still 400Gb available, while on a 200mb volume, this is only 20mb What I would like to do, is define a percent or absolute, based on disk size. Page messages

Does anyone know if you can submit a "page" message vi the bb client so that it goes to hoobit_alert. I want to raise an alert via hobbit for something that we have no current check for. If it is possible does anyone have an example message syntax. The man page seems to hint that page messages can be sent something like, bb [options] RECIPIENT "page <HOST><test> <message>" but this does not seem to generate an alert for me. Thanks Dave. Troubleshooting No Graph for Service

Hey all, Just wondering if anyone has suggestions on how to troubleshoot why a files graph wouldn't be showing up, yet other hosts with similar configurations are just fine. The variations are version of OS (RHEL3,4,5), paths that include dots and don't, and if a single file vs a file/directory pair are being monitored. Vertical columns. Is it possible?

Hi guys, does anybody know, if its possible to make the "check columns" at the vertical and not horizontal? Its kinda of unhandy when you allways have to scroll to the left when you want to see all your checks. Thanks, Cayo

Magnification window problem.

I just noticed the following problem. I do not know how long it has had this problem but sometime in the past it was works. PROBLEM: When I click on the magnification icon next to a graph the graph will pop up but the whole graph area is blue. It does not matter what the graph line color is it is blue on all the graphs. I am running hobbit 4.2.0 on SunOS hobbitserver.math.purdue.edu 5.10 Generic_120011-14 sun4u sparc SUNW,Sun-Fire-280R, I do not know how long hobbit has had this problem as I have not used this feature for a while, but it was working sometime in the past. I have attached a picture of two graphs. You will notice that picuter_2 is blue even thought the graph legend show green, so the blue does not have anything to do with the legend color, I would assume. My hobbit server has not been upgraded for a long time. Has anyone seen this before? Any ideas as to what is causing the problem. how do I enable all maintenance record in one command ?

I am working on simple script(add up of getblue.sh and putblue.sh got posted ealier) to clone maintenance records from Xymon server A to B. one last step is to find out bb command to enable all existing old maintenance records on server B. and then do a push of all maintenance records from A.
