TS - Is there a way to make the notes page go to a new window?

It there a way to make the NOTES webpage open a new window rather than having it appear in the same browser window. This way, you could view both at the same time without have to go BACK and FORWARD between the screens. I'm sure somewhere in the source code, this modification can be made in the <a> </a> information. Or if you can have it open another TAB on the screen - that might also work. I have updated the etc/hobbit-holidays.cfg file for holidays in 2011. I have restarted xymon. When I click on any "info" ICON I get 2 listings side by side on the left is 2010 and on the right is 2011. I only have entries for 2011 in the file. How do I get rid of the 2010 entries???? As the subject says:If I try to include ~/server/etc/xymonserver.cfg I get 2 errors: ..xymonserver.cfg: line 303 reached EOF while searching for '"'. ..xymonserver.cfg: line 304: Syntax error: unexpected EOF (roughly translated back from german) and then a lot of "Cannot find value for variable XYMON* error messages. BBWIN Alerting on any Service that’s automatic and stopped

We have all of our Window services that need to be alerted on set to startup=automatic. So any SVC that is set to automatic should be started. Instead of listing every different SVC on every server is there a way to just look for all SVC's with startup=automatic and alert when status=stopped? Something like this: SVC %.* startup=automatic status=started "TEXT=service not started" Thanks Bill

Compling on a mybook world NAS

Hallo again, I'm trying to compile xymon for several days on my mybookWorld white line NAS I tried the stable version and the newest beta of xymon, but everytime the configuration script fails. As you can see(in the following paste), the normal configure script doesn't accept the command line parameters for the pcre and rrdtool folders, so i use the configure.server script directly. http://paste2.org/p/1179839 Compiling the stable version results, that he isn't able to find the zlib.sh, which is really not in the builds folder: http://paste2.org/p/1179843 Downloaded the archive several times, but there wasn't a zlib.sh in the builds folder. Is there a general fault in what i'm doing?:D greetings

Hi, I got 2 xymon servers. One is running version 4.2.3 (i'll call this server 'old') and the other running 4.3.0 beta3 (called 'new'). On the 'new' server, a client with same version is running and reports its status to both 'old' and 'new'. Everything runs fine but the files test status is ever white on 'new', even if the test report errors. On 'old' the status is OK and color changes when according results. What can make this behaviour ?

how to "escape" a column name

Perhaps someone knows offhand, to save me a lot of hacking. Is it possible to "escape" a status message, so as to make a status column heading appear on two lines? such as ~/bin/bb my_host "status 'uname -n'.MyColumn\nName green `date` `cat mytest`" Or like that.

xymon version is "xymon-4.3.0-0.20101114.beta3" on openSUSE 11.3 x64. Hi, On my xymon 4.2.3 server, there is no directory for a client running xymon 4.3.0 beta3. the host reports its data, and is shown on webpage, but no rrd data are stored, hence the graphs are not working
