Remove Column/Test

Hi, we do not check for any ports, how do we remove the Ports column please? In the documentation (https://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/System_Monitoring_with_Xymon) it says: I don't want to display column foo in my display. How do I do that ? A. Add the entry NOCOLUMNS:foo,bar to hide column foo and bar. but it doesn't say where and it also mentions (in other answers) bb files that don't exist so I guess it is out of date. (Is there an uptodate version of this document t cover the latest Xymon?) Regards, Nick Pettefar

ISO documentation on flapping status?

We've got a bunch of servers showing as "flapping". I understand that this is a new feature but haven't found the docs on how to tweak it. Where and how can this be changed? thanks Betsy

All non-green view and systems with an nopropred

Hello out there, we are running 5 Xymon sites, and for one site we are in the need to use the "all non-green view". Unfortunately, on this particular site there are systems included that have a "NOPROPRED" or "NOPROPYELLOW" tag in the hosts.cfg. Is there a way to have a page similar to the "all non-green view" that excludes those hosts that have such a tag? So that really only those hosts are being displayed that have a real "red" or real "yellow" that has not a NOPROPRED or NOPROPYELLOW? Or can I configure the way hosts are being displayes on the "all non-green view"? I've looked into the mailing list archive but I couldn' find something that would match my needs. Bug report: Crash xymond_rrd

Hello Xymon team, I discovered a bug in xymond_rrd module present in release 4.3.7 and after. Some times function update_rrd in do_rrd.c msg pointer (*msg) can be null. That cause an segfault at strchr call. Disabling History

Is there any way to pull history of disabled reasons for host? Once a host is enabled I don't see a way to find out why it was originally disabled. I also do not see a way to add additional notes to the disabled host once the host has been disabled initially. Problem disabling large groups of hosts

I'm having a problem trying to disable over 1000+ hosts and tests at one time for maintenance windows. I've even tried disabling in groups of 100-200 but it will still miss a group of servers here and there. It seems that when I click "apply" and once the screen refreshes could possibly stop running the enadis.sh/cgi script in the background (??) Is there a way to debug this or modify the refresh time/interval? The reason we want to disable all these hosts/tests for maintenance windows is to keep SLA during the reboots and service outages for patching etc.. Does anyone have other recommendations or suggest using REPORTTIME globally instead? adding a table to a custom test

I'm trying to get the format of a new custom test I'm writing correct. What I want it to look like is: Title Header Header Header Field Field Field . . . . . . Trailing info When I put in html tags, I get a full page of blank under the "History" button, then my output. Also, my trailing info comes first. So how can I add a table into the status message of the xymon command? My servers are 4.3.10, the clients are 4.2.3 or 4.3.4.

Hello, I'm experiencing similar crashes of xymond_rrd using 4.3.10 with rrdtool-1.4.3-1. I have custom tests using NCV graphs.
