Can't get my mrtg graphs showing up on the trends page. I have followed the instruction in the help page, "Integrating MRTG data into Xymon" I get the rrd ok, but I only get a broken link "xymongraph mrtg" to the graph in the trends page. Can't see any logs with any errors, looked in apache2 logs and xymon logs. Rrdtool dump doesn't show anything strange, maybe "<type> COUNTER </type>" usually this is GAUGE. I'm not really good at deciphering rrd stuff. There is a "mrtg::1" entry in "xymonserver.cfg:GRAPHS" The graphs.cfg has the default [mrtg] entry I tried a few different mrtg entries in mrtg.conf, I just get another broken link. This is correct behaviour based on the contents of xymonbody.css: It seems that Chrome (and looks like IE9 too) honours the HTML FONT tag around the link text, which overrides the css: <A HREF="/xymon-cgi/columndoc.sh?bbd"><FONT COLOR="#87a9e5" SIZE="-1"><B>bbd</B></FONT></A> The styling should really be done with css alone otherwise we will get these inconsistencies between browsers. I seem to recall we've had conversations about this kind of thing on the list before. This is correct behaviour based on the contents of xymonbody.css: a:link { color: #00FFAA; text-decoration: underline; } a:visited { color: #FFFF44; text-decoration: underline; } This should make all hyperlinks green unless they have been visited, in which case they are yellow. If you want to change this, edit ~xymon/server/www/gifs/xymonbody.css. Force http test to 30 mins interval for only one host

How do I force xymon server 4.2.3 to do http test in 30 mins interval for one host only? We are asked not to probe this client with any faster frequency for some odd reason. I can only think of a ext script to do that. Is there a way xymon can do that natively? bbtest-net with --test-untagged and then a separate ext script with bbtest-net --timeout=30m for this particular host with NET:foo won't work. Since it is not changing the frequency of the test. mrtg xymon integration problem

Hi, Thank you for the quick answer. I have installed them and now i have some other problem... Thanks Steve. I hope submitting patches can be made easier through SourceForge in the future. But I will let my college Gudmo decide how he goes about this since he is the one currently developing and maintaining the script. Include transfer of file contents to Xymon server for FILE check

On the server I currently have a simple check to see if this file exists. I know if this file exists that there is a power outage somewhere. HOST=host.imaginenetworksllc.com FILE /opt/noticeofpowerfailure red noexist What I would like to do is include the contents of said text file to the server so when I click on the status it shows up in my browser.
